Powell clearly wrote it while she was working full-time in a BigLaw firm in litigation and in the middle of it all. It was not written by some senior partner looking back on her career, or a career advice writer spewing generalized platitudes like so many of these kinds of books|About the Author|Sarah Powell is a lecturing fellow at Duke University School of Law. Before joining Duke she was a litigator at Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, D.C.
