Moore|Since the book was written since much of the record of the Johnson administration has been released, we get a fuller picture of what the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s looked like. The author does a good job of not wandering from the topic, but he does go wide enough to pick up important facts and characters in the story. The author too obvious|From Publishers Weekly|Starred . King's leadership of the Civil Rights movement catalyzed a revolution in public consciousness that Johnson's matchless political skills cemented in the landmark voting and civil rights laws of the 1960s. In this engrossing narra
